Swiss Arms introduces the SG553R selective fire assault rifle, chambered in 7.62x39mm caliber for the LE and the Military market, which is also NATO AC 225. The SG553R is also available in a semiautomatic version for the civilian market, and features a completely machined lower receiver built out of an aluminum alloy billet, that accepts standard AK47 magazines; the weapon is designed to be extremely affordable, and at the same time maintain the same level of reliability and performance typical of Swiss Arms manufacture. The SG553R features a 240mm barrel with integral flash hider, a folding stock and trigger guard, and an upper receiver with integral Picatinny rail. The weapon also features a set of folding emergency iron sights.
