CZ TSR, a sniper rifle for armed forces and long range shooting

At the 16th international Defense Services Asia Exhibition 2018 that took place in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur between last April 16th and 19th, Česká Zbrojovka a.s. and its sister company, CZ 4M Systems a.s., introduced their brand new sniper rifle, the CZ TSR. The manufacturer had already presented it at IWA OutdoorClassics 2018 last March, but this was the first time the Asian continent could see the new TSR model.

Derived from the 557 action, the new CZ’s sniper rifle is specifically designed for armed forces and long distance shooting. It should replace the CZ 750 M1S1 model.

CZ TSR: The TSR barrel is floating and cold hammer forged. Stock is adjustable and can be folded to either side.

The bolt is fluted with helical grooves to make the weapon highly durable and reliable in adverse conditions.

The bolt handle is adapted for comfortable, reliable and rapid reloading with a riflescope attached, while the trigger mechanism is fully adjustable: you can also select single stage or double stage trigger.

The TSR also sports an effective compensator and several MIL-STD-1913 rails for the attachment of accessories – there is a short Picatinny rail even on the muzzlebrake for back-up sights. The adjustable stock can be set to fold to either side.

The CZ TSR rifle is easy to adjust to the shooter’s ergonomics according to his/her preferences and requirements and fully compatible with QD accessories. The magazine, fully integrated in the aluminum alloy frame, has a capacity of 10 rounds.
