The Adinolfi company − a major distributor for the products of the Lithuania-based Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide, which also manages the Pulsar brand − showcased the Pulsar XD line of thermal riflescopes at the 2016 edition of the HIT Show at the Vicenza fairgrounds, in northern Italy.

Pulsar's Apex XD line includes three different thermal riflescopes, named after the diameter of their objective lens, in millimetres: Apex XD38, Apex XD50 and Apex XD75. The Pulsar Apex XD line of thermal riflescopes has been conceived for both sport shooting and night hunting, but they can also cover a limited niche on the professional market, particularly when it comes to Police sales.

The Pulsar Apex XD line of thermal riflescopes offers a magnification factor ranging between 1.5x to 6x, depending from the variant; a 50Hz refresh rate; and a maximum range varying between 1250 and 1600 metres, once again depending from the variant. They can resist recoil shock up to 6000 joules in energy, and offer a reticle selection function with ten different alternatives. Each Pulsar Apex XD thermal riflescope comes issued with a video cable, allowing it to be connected to any recording system. The retail price starts at €4,000.00 for the baseline variant.
