The Accolade uses cutting edge sensor and image processing techology, with built-in video recorder, stadiametric rangefinder, Wi-Fi module and long-life quick-change batteries.

At this time, two models have been announced, the XQ38 and XP50, based respectively on a 384x288 and 640x480 resolution sensor, both with 17 μm pixel pitch, and a 38mm and 50mm front objective focal length.

The Pulsar Accolade features an ergonomic control interface similar to the one already used in many other Pulsar NV products.

Native optical magnification is respectively 3,1x and 2,5x; thanks to digital zoom, the maximum magnification is 12,4x for the XQ38 and 20x for the XP50 models, due to the 4x and 8x magnification ratios of each model.

Both versions of the Pulsar Accolade thermal binoculars are able to produce a highly detailed image in complete darkness with their 50 frames per second framerate.

The eyepieces feature a 640x480 OLED Microdislpay,  and the minimum focusing distance is 3m.

More features and specs of the Pulsar Accolade thermal binoculars - including pricing and actual availability on the market - will be unveiled at the 2018 SHOT Show introduction in Las Vegas, later this January.

Stay tuned for our coverage of the show!
