Victorinox Pioneer X

Victorinox, the Swiss manufacturer of premium knives, debuted a new model in its Pioneer series at the IWA OutdoorClassics. This series in the Victorinox range of products epitomizes exceptional robustness in a pocket tool. Because everything about the the blade is designed for endurance and durability. The manufacturer enhanced the material strength of both the blade as well as the all-important rivet joints on all its Pioneer models.

And, in response to popular demand, the new "Pioneer X" comes equipped with scissors, a much-anticipated accessory tool. Up to now, the Pioneer series lacked this useful scissors. But the scissors were not simply incorporated into the "Pioneer Alox" chassis. Instead, Model X  was developed as a separate version and is somewhat larger than the model previously mentioned.

Other tools in the new "Pioneer X": blade, reamer-grater-blade, can opener with screwdriver tip and bottle opener (also with a screwdriver), which can also be used as cable stripper.

The new "Pioneer X" comes in the characteristic silver-colored Alox look with the familiar white cross. It weighs about 95 grams and is available on the Victorinox website for 44 euros.
